Hello World!

It is so exciting to be writing my first blog post! I intend to share my experiences as I decorate a very sad and neglected townhouse into our home. I also intend to do the project on a limited budget because 1). It's more fun that way and 2). I want to retire one day!
I currently share my home with my husband of (nearly) 25 years, "Jack-of-all-Trades" (and mostly Master-of-them-All); my son, The Creative One, and my daughter, The Horsey Girl. We sold our 40-acre horse ranch to purchase, really, what amounts to a new lifestyle. Our townhouse is in a condominium complex that allows us to "lock the door" and travel. We have downsized our menagerie to 1 horse and 3 cats. We're living the dream!
